So I know Duke is a very competitive university, and thus nobody can truly give an accurate chance. But I have been snooping around for a while, researching there admissions procedure and it seems as if they score students 1-5 in various categories (one of them being test scores). On Duke’s official website, they state that they do not recalculate a composite ACT score, but they consider the highest subsection scores across different sittings.
My highest single sitting:
C: 32
E: 35
M: 31
R: 34
S: 27
Overall highest scores without recalculating composite:
C: 32
E: 35
M: 35
R: 34
S: 27 (ugh hate the science section)
So, I was wondering how I would fair with these test scores, will they hurt me, or no? I am taking the Math 2 and Chemistry subject tests this January and can expect (hopefully) 750+s on both of the tests. I also have taken high level Chemistry courses at a university and high level math courses (Linear Algebra). I am also from NC and applying to Trinity.
Thank you!
