Will my Ws and NCs affect my admission?

<p>I have 5 Withdrawals and 3 No Credits. I made up one W and one NC. One of the No Credits does not transfer. Three Ws were from when I was ill (I explained this in my additional essay.) Here are the rest of my stats:</p>

<p>Applied to: USC, UCLA, UCI
Major: Anthropology
GPA: 4.0
Pre-reqs completed: 2 (Cultural and Biological Anthropology)
IGETC: Will be finished by the end of spring ‘09
Honors: Honors Program, Dean’s List, Academic Scholarships
ECs: Student Government, Alpha Gamma Sigma, some community service (These are all prior to this semester. I can’t do any more because of family responsibilities.)
Job/Work Experience: Retail and Federal Work Study
Personal Statement: I think I wrote an ok personal statement.</p>

<p>I’m really worried… Am I screwed?</p>

<p>I think you’ll be fine for UCI…and maybe UCLA…however UCLA is really strict for pre-reqs.
You should at least take ALL the prereq courses offered at your school for UCLA, and try making up some more of the NC classes that you haven’t retaken in the Spring.
I’m also an anthro major, and have noticed that there have been quite a few this year. For me, I took Intro to Archeology (A+), Cultural Anthro (A), and Bio Anthro (A) for the prereqs. Gluck!</p>
