Will past habits effect my chances of getting into Law School?

Helloooo, I’m Kay, and I’m fourteen years old. Right now, I’m in this great program my school offers that’s called AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) and so far this year, my grades are amazing. I’m on Honor Roll, and I was off High Honor Roll by a point, mostly because of my 85 in gym class. I’m hoping to be a lawyer and I want to get into a grade college then Law school, but the thing is, I cut myself. It’s a hard habit to try and stop, but I’m trying. Will that habit stop me from entering a great school?
Thanks. And I’m sorry if this is in the wrong category, I don’t have any idea how to work this.

Better to remain silent and have people think that you are an idiot than to speak and remove all doubt. Polo is an ass in his response so feel free to ignore him.

Cutting is a serious problem. Whether or not you go to law school, my reccommendation is that you get counseling/therapy to get to the root of your cutting so that you can find other ways of dealing with your stress.

Thank you. I plan to see a phys. but I don’t want to get labeled “crazy” and have it marked down for life.

You will not get labeled crazy, if you get help. You have a medical condition and it will be totally up to you whether or not you want to disclose (which is not necessary). Long term therapy that will help you to develop better coping mechanisms will give you an all around greater quality of life.

Thank you guys for your advice! I’m prob seeing a doctor soon. Toodles!

I knew someone in high school who used to cut. He did therapy at the urge of his friend, and now he is a successful student at a top 25 college.

really inappropriate post.

my comment was directed at polo in case that wasn’t clear.
