Will playing the Oboe from 6th to 9th grade stand out on my application?

<p>Basically, I gave it up because my teacher said I was horrible and gave me low grades on purpose so I would not be in symphonic band. Sad I know. :(…but whatever.</p>

<p>Not at all. The only year that would show on your application would be 9th grade. A lot of people play instruments for all throughout high school and win a bunch of awards for it.
