Will preparing for SAT Level 2 Math prepare me for the general SAT?

I got the 2013-2014 version of the Princeton Review and I’m planning on taking my general SAT in January and my Level 2 exam in Spring, so will brushing over all of the SAT 2 concepts in the Princeton review book prepare me for the math portion of the general SAT? Or are there a few concepts here and there that I won’t find on the subject test that I will find in the general exam?

The two syllabus are completely different. Prepare each separately

Would appreciate some more feedback

SAT Maths is a test of common sense and speed. If you are fast, you can ace it.

SAT Maths IIC is a test of using a graphing calculator properly. If you are efficient at using a GC, then you will ace it.

SAT Maths is just basic maths. Even a 8th grader can attempt and do it. (provided he is fast)

SAT Maths IIC is a little higher level maths which can be attempted by a 11th or 10th grader.

Syllabus is different as in SAT Maths has no syllabus. SAT Maths IIC has definite syllabus.

Preparing for 1 does not mean you might ace the second. So practice for both and you will have no problem in getting a 750+ in both.
