Will running start (dual-enrollment) affect your chances of getting into top schools (UCLA especiall

So I was wondering if taking classes at the community college next year as a highschool junior would affect my chances of getting into some of the top schools like ucla, the ivies, etc

Doing well in college courses taken while in high school should be a plus, assuming that the college courses are higher level ones.

Since Running Start is a term associated with Washington, you should be aware that UCLA and most other non-Washington state universities tend to be expensive with little or no financial aid for you (though some may have large merit scholarships). Check the net price calculators on the web sites of colleges you are interested in, and talk to your parents about how much they will contribute before you apply. Obviously, you have plenty of time, since you are now in 10th grade and need to have the basic financial parameters by the beginning of your 12th grade academic year. But do not wait until April of your 12th grade academic year to talk about costs with your parents.
