<p>It sure didn’t help me.</p>
<p>I heard that there is some overlap between cell bio and (the beginning of) biochemistry. But I have never heard there is any close relation between (gen.) chemistry and cell bio. DS noticed that many freshmen did not do very well in cell bio (some took it during the spring semester of the freshman year), but more sophomores did better. It may have something to do with the maturity and better study habit than anything else.</p>
