<p>I only need 2 more classes for my major, I was planning on taking 2 extra ones. However due to complications with my classes, I am really debating if I should just completing the 2 I need. Most UCs require 4 pre reqs and I have completed 3, and with these 2 will be 5. If I do 2 extra 7…but would it even matter?</p>
<p>Uhm, usually pre-reqs fill actual requirements at the school you’re transferring to. Look up your major’s requirements at your UC’s webpage, and figure out how your classes will articulate. Will taking more pre-reqs clear more requirements? If it will, you should definitely aim to take them. If the other pre-reqs you’re looking at clear requirements you’ve already done, doing extra won’t help you a whole lot.</p>
<p>Also, make sure you’ll have 60 transferable units by the time you go to transfer, otherwise it’s essentially an instant rejection.</p>
