<p>I am a freshmen in high school taking regular math(algebra 1). I have an A in the class and I was wondering if it will affect my admissions. I want to go to UVA.</p>
<p>It depends on where you are. If you are in VA, and are from Virginia Beach or NoVA, it probably will unless you start taking honors next year. If you have an A, you’re probably good at math. Honors isn’t that hard, especially if you have an A in regular.</p>
