I’m currently a junior in high school. Right now I’m taking AP Chem, PreCalc (no honors at my school), and AP Eng Lang. Originally, I wanted to take AP Bio as well, but my school wouldn’t let me. So, I took an Academic Tutoring period (unfortunately, I do nothing). I try to balance the tutoring period by taking 3 college classes (Stats, World History, Philosophy) and plan to take 3 more next semester. Students are only allowed to take 3 courses/11 units at the community college.
I basically have 2 free periods in my schedule, Tutoring and “DE-College Class” which frees up a period so I can take my Stats class. My top schools are Brown and UCLA, but I’m scared that my schedule seems too easy. Does it seem like I’m lazy? or do the college classes balance it out?
The schedule does not show you as lazy. If you get rejected, it will not be for that.
