<p>I’m an upcoming freshman who got into a top school and had to turn it down.
If I wanted to transfer there for my somophore year, would the fact that I got in the first time mean that I have good chances of getting in again ? Would they even remember me ?</p>

<p>Yes, thats definitely a plus. Just keep a decent college GPA and try to continue some of your EC’s.</p>

<p>It will help, but note that transfer acceptance rates are lower than freshmen acceptance rates at the top schools.</p>
