Will the adcoms read all the recs ???

<p>I have a total of 5 recommendations, including 1 from my counselor, will the adcoms read them all ???</p>

<p>they will certainly read over your 2 teacher and one counselor rec, but will probably only skim the others, especially if they are all very similar (ie rec 1 - this is kid is brilliant. rec2 - this kid is so smart. rec3 - I think this kid would stand out because of his intelligence)</p>

<p>Yes, they will read through two of them carefully, and more then likely skim the others. You would have probably been better off to just send the top two and the counselor recommedation.</p>

<p>Thanks a lot guys, but my situation is a bit more awkward:</p>

<p>3 recs are from my 10th grade in the US
2 recs are from my 12th grade in VN </p>

<p>Another question is which recs do u think the adcoms really value???</p>

<p>1 from my American counselor
2 from my American teacher
1 from my Vietnamese counselor AND Biology teacher
1 from my Vietnamese English teacher</p>
