On Jan 2nd, I mailed my parents’ 2007 W2 and some “Additional Statements” to the Admissions Office, in the same envelope.

I figured the W2 will probably go to the Financial Aid Office, but will the “Additional Statements” go with my Common App & Supplement?

For the “Additional Statements”, I basically wrote about why Cornell is my #1 although I didn’t apply ED, why I fit my major (in the supplement I wrote how I fit with Cornell and the School, not really the major), and what Cornell has done for me (long story about a summer program at Cornell) and how I can contribute back.

My question is: Will the admission officers receive/read these “Optional Additional Statements” while evaluating my application?
