Will the applications make it in time?

<p>I sent my US college applications in only today (16 Dec 2004) from Glasgow, Scotland.</p>

<p>The dealines are around 31 December for most of them and I’m afraid the applications won’t make it in time or there won’t be any places left for international students for me to get accepted (i’m from burma and I need financial aid).</p>

<p>I’m applying to:
Amherst
Brandeis
Harvey Mudd
Middlebury
Oberlin
Washington and Lee
Williams</p>

<p>The mail takes about 5 days to a week so my applications will only be in by christmas.</p>

<p>Um I think most of those school take the commonapp, so why not submit your main app online?</p>

<p>Check to see if the deadline is according to the postage or when they receive it!</p>

<p>Don’t worry about it. When colleges say the deadline is December 31, they mean that applications are postmarked by that date, they don’t necessarily need to be there on that date.</p>
