Will the credits for writing courses be transferred?

<p>I’ve heard that the credits for several kind of courses cannot be transferred to most universities, like those in humanity category or something? Is that true? How about college writing?</p>

<p>I have problems selecting courses for the next quarter in my current school.</p>

<p>Humanities are courses like English, philosophy, history, etc. It is not usually the category of class that doesn’t transfer, but rather if it is remedial, technical, etc. it might not.</p>

<p>But sometimes credits for GE cannot satisfy the GE in a different school. Is it usually the case? Is that also true for college writing class?</p>

<p>A local school refuses to accept transfer writing classes; you have to take it when you arrive. It seems to be a school by school policy.</p>
