Will the rest make up for my SAT?

<p>Standard student at my school takes 6 classes in 9th, 10th, and 11th, and 5 in 12th. That’s 23 classes total. I’ll have taken 33 or 34 classes by graduation, including 7 AP’s, all A’s, except for 2 semester B’s as a sophomore.</p>

<p>Played piano for 7 hours per week since the 2nd grade.</p>

<p>2 hours a week reading to kids - since the beginning of junior year
6-8 hours a week in a restorative justice program for youth - since the beginning of sophomore year
2.5 hours a week helping my grandmother with her book business - since 7th grade</p>

<p>So the community service totals around 10.5-12.5 hrs/week, the book business is the only summer activity as well.</p>

<p>I went to the Jackling Intro to Engineering program at University of Missouri - S&T</p>

<p>I’m the founder and president of the Math/Engineering/Science club at my school. This involved scheduling speakers, activities, etc.</p>

<p>I work for the local tourism board finding out what places would interest teen tourists. I’m paid, but that money is used for business expenses. It’s for a major, major city, if that helps?</p>

<p>Hi, first of all your SAT isn’t bad at all. If you want to retake it - do it, but 2080 isn’t weak and most of the Ivy league would accept that, but of course your chances would increase dramatically if you had something like 700+/per each. But still your GPA is impressive. Even though you really don’t have enough EC like sports etc. Still give it a shot, I believe that the answer of your question is “yes”, your grades will make up for the SAT. Good luck :)</p>

<p>I say nope right now, but to keep on striving to be outstanding. Harvard, like other Ivies, is ridiculous. But do something amazing this coming year and you could have a shot :)</p>

<p>my best advice would be to pursue an internship right now for a candidate for a high office- it’s reallyyy eassy and a ton of work and looks great
that’ll REALLY help your admission chances,</p>

<p>other than that, it doesn’t look very hot right now truthfully</p>
