As an international student, it is quite hard for me to know if the programs there are suitable for internationals or not and how the schools provide financial aid or scholarships. So, I just think contacting the students there is a nice idea. They can not only give wonderful advices but also explain how they had completed their application forms. You know, not every student has CC account
But if I email the school AOs will they help me?
Yes, if you email the school and ask to have a current student contact you, they will find a student volunteer to email you. Once my S received an email from a student (without asking) after a school visit, and they corresponded over a few emails.
Google “Common Data Set” and the school name. There is some info in there on the number of international students, how many get aid, and average amounts. Often the websites have a page in the aid section for internationals as well.
Common Data Set = for colleges & universities
For boarding schools (high school level), you should contact the admissions offices directly.
