<p>The deadline is feb 14th for fall and I was wondering if theres going to be any room left in housing for those students being admitted later.</p>
<p>A friend of our younger daughter, now a freshman, is clearly an Honors-quality student. She waited to apply and when she was finally accepted she got into Honors - no problem - but did not get the Honors dorm. She’s in one of the need-to-be-renovated dorms. Her housing priority is very high (high = poor dorm choice).</p>
<p>Not a good situation as that number sticks with you all four years. Sometimes you can get lucky and get a decent dorm, but it’s just better to have a low number. Sorry… :(</p>
<p>There are nice private dorms and apartments near the University so don’t worry too much if you do not get on campus. Just make an extra effort to take advantage of the campus activities and facilities and you will be fine.</p>
