Will these scores help my applications?

<p>I took the SAT subject test scores in January, and I got a 790 on the Literature and a 780 on the Biology-M. I sent them to Harvard (who requires subject tests), Yale and Stanford (who don’t require subject tests but require you to send the scores if you take them) and Vanderbilt (which is my top choice). Will these help my applications any? I’m hoping they will because I really wasn’t expecting to do that well on them :slight_smile: Here are my stats:</p>

<p>Of course they will! How will they not help you? That’s almost a perfect score on those tests. Btw, how did you study for the sat lit. Do you just read a lot or did you actually get a prep book to study from?</p>

<p>I never understand why people post threads like this…do your work, apply and don’t worry about it. Things will work out if you do your work, and worrying isnt going to change anything</p>

<p>Sure - they will help. You should feel great about those scores, but don’t rest on them. Keep the GPA up, get passionate about that No. 1 EC and write some smokin’ essays. Best of luck!</p>

<p>Thanks. I got the book by Kaplan. It was really informative and helped me a lot. I think it was like 20 bucks at Barnes & Noble.</p>
