Hi will these school accept you if you have ever been dismissed like a year before applying.
Choate Rosemary Hall
Taft School
Hotchkiss School
Deerfield Academy
Phillips Exeter Academy

Unless the applicant has some incredibly compelling explanation behind your dismissal, I’m thinking “No.”

You have listed five of the most selective schools in the country. They have their pick of applicants. They reject extremely qualified people who have NOT gotten dismissed from their former schools all the time…so why should they accept someone who could not make it work at what is probably a less rigorous school?

I don’t think you will get in

I know students who have been dismissed from Loomis only to be accepted into other good prep schools (Avon Old Farms for example) for sports reasons.
