Will this affect my acceptance?

I took a P.E. course instead of a tennis course and participated in an environmental service club instead of drama. I listed that I would be taking the tennis course and be in a play during my senior year. Will something as small as this affect my admissions status? Thanks.

Your inclination is correct. It won’t affect anything.

Are you a senior? The answer is it doesn’t matter, but if you want to be completely honest, you can send an updated message to your adcomms. They won’t care, but you will feel better.

I sent an updated message. I listed these activities under extracurriculars on the application. I stated that I would be doing them my senior year. Are you guys sure nothing will happen? I’ve heard (aka just recently read) some real horror stories.

The only one who can completely answer your question is the college. Best to ask them.

Here’s the real story of a Dartmouth accepted student and what it took for him/her to get in trouble w/Dartmouth.

Does your scenario rise to this level? No? Then please relax – remember, you’re the source of upwards of quarter million dollars in tuition and fees over the next few years. They don’t give a tinker’s dxxx about your tennis or drama.

As long as you didn’t flagrantly lie about something or fail a few classes second semester, relax.

I cannot imagine any circumstance where a change in ECs or a gym class would matter (unless perhaps you were recruited as a tennis player by the college). As someone on CC says all the time you want to avoid, D’s, F’s, and felonies.
