I have been participant of several university level courses at University of Paris, University of Oslo (summer program), University of Oxford (UK) and Russian language program at Moscow State University. I have also been at conferences from my region at University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom since I was 13 (my aunt has Phd from Cambridge and she arranged and accompanied me)

I never really mentioned any of this on my application and the interviews were pretty superficial as well. Will including these on my wait list statement support my claim that it all gives me confidence to be successful at a high level school like Columbia? I think I have acquired enough international experience to be able to contribute towards columbia’s diverse student body, yet I am not sure if this is going to make any difference.

What do you think?
