Will this be enough AP courses based on my prospective colleges?

I am a rising junior and taking my first real AP course (on transcript) next school year. My unweighted GPA for freshman and sophomore years is 3.94 in mostly Honors and GT courses. I go to a selective public magnet high school in Maryland. There are 17 different AP courses that are offered at my school. I plan to become a pediatrician, therefore my magnet program (Academy of Health Professions) involves an internship at University of Maryland Hospital.

My college application list (yes, I’m thinking about this already):

Johns Hopkins (first choice)
Georgetown
University of Pennsylvania (probably a dream at this point)
UMD (College Park - mom’s alma mater)
Univ. of MD Baltimore County
Towson University
Goucher College (not a bad choice)

AP classes self-studying:

US Government and Politics (4)
Music Theory (TBA)

AP classes offered:

World History (dropped out of this class)
US History (regret not taking it)
English Language and Composition (TAKING)
English Literature and Composition (WILL TAKE)
AP Calculus AB (WILL TAKE)
AP Calculus BC (math not high enough)
AP Statistics (seems unnecessary)
AP Environmental Science (not interested)
AP Psychology (POSSIBLY TAKING)
AP Biology (WILL TAKE)
AP Spanish Language (WILL TAKE)
AP French Language (N/A)
AP Physics 1 (honors instead)
AP Physics C (N/A)
AP Computer Science (definitely not)
AP Macroeconomics (N/A)
AP Microeconomics (N/A)

If you did not feel like reading that, I will have taken about 1/3 of the AP classes offered (5 or 6) in addition to 2 self-study. Thanks!

Yes.

Most of the time, 5-6 APs will be good, but it’ll all come down to what your counselor thinks of your schedule relative to other students, as he/she has to mark how rigororous it is on your counselor rec form.
