Will this be OK?

I’m taking the April ACT and have had to dealt with personal issues in my life so my studying time has been very limited. It is now February, so I only have about 2 months to really study. Will this be a major problem (this is my first time taking the ACTs).

It shouldn’t be much of a problem really. I didn’t study at all and made a 33, and I’m usually considered, by my peers, to be on the lower end of the “intelligence spectrum”.

if you were attentive in your classes and education in high school, it shouldn’t be a problem. The only thing I really think you should study is the format of the test. People tend to do poorly on the ACT because they run out of time due to lack of test familiarization.

Just relax! If you went to a moderately good high school and know the basic format of the test you shouldn’t have a problem getting a 33+ first time around.

Buy some practice books and try to learn the concepts and do the practice tests.

You only really need to study for like two weeks anyway. I didnt even know I was taking the Oct 08 ACT until two nights because I forgot about it and I went in cold and still got a 30.

It depends on how high of a score you want and how much knowledge you already have.
