I have a daily rountine with my face I wash it then use the wave from neutrogena and at night i also wash my face and sometimes during the day. Do people in college think this is weird because I’m a guy?

“My name is Patrick Bateman. I’m 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.”

honestly though no one will care

thanks 10chars

nah dude. For the most part, people are more mature in college and will not judge you by something as silly as that.

lol @ post #2.

But what others said, nobody will care. You’ll be surprised by how many others have similar habits.

I imagine you may get jokingly made fun of for using the wave. But nothing more than that.

haha I didn’t know what “the wave” was so i assumed it was some product you use to make your hair wavy and I thought that was weird :p

see, ever since I got DVR and stopped watching commercials entirely, i don’t know about the latest products. Btw is the Wave any good? for people with dry skin?

LOL it’s a really good thing it makes skin really smooth. I don’t know about dry skin but if that’s what you’re looking for try Kiehls face moisturizer it works very well. :)

not at all.

Any suggestions for treating acne? I’ll get like one pimple but it will stay a while.

Chlorine…

no thanks lol

I’ve heard if you pop it (or don’t?), and then put Neosporin on it before you go to bed and then just leave it there overnight, it’ll work pretty well. It did for me, at least. But hey. Correlation doesn’t mean causation, all that jazz.

But anyway, if you were my friend, I would totally rag on you for it. In a joking way. ;] So yeah, about what S0ad said.

omg- bad mistake. That thread goes completely against my position.

Not that it will mean anything now but, here [Chlorine… - Acne.org Message Boards](http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Chlorine-t25849.html)

Sounds weird

I know. I thinks it’s more for people with breakouts, not just a zit.

hmmm…just about anything with benzoyl peroxide in it. I have heard mixed results though.

i’ve tried lots of thing like proactiv up to going to a dermatologist twice a month but still no luck. Worst thing is it’s only like one or two pimples but they last forever

Yeah, acne can sometimes suck like that. Change your diet maybe? Sometimes you just outgrow it, I think that’s what happened to me.

Or, if all else fails, smear that sucker with some bleach ;)
