I currently have a 2.6 GPA. Yes, I KNOW it’s awful. Due to bullying issues I had problems focusing in school. But on my junior year I began taking college courses in a university in my country (no, not a community college) and because I was in an environment where I actually felt accepted for once, AND I was taking classes that I was interested and passionate about (related to my intended major) I actually managed to have a 4.0 GPA. Will this help my chances and somehow makeup for my awful high school GPA?

Bump…

Bump…

It is customary to bump no more than every 24 hrs.

Of course doing well in college coursework will help you; but it is impossible to say how much it will mitigate a bad HS gpa.

^I apologize for the unnecessary bump :P

Will it help? Yeah, But as I said before, if a person who has a 2.6 GPA gets straight A’s in local college classes, they are going to assume the college classes are easy. There’s really no way around that. And I have to admit, I have my suspicions as well.
