Will this help my brother?

<p>I was accepted to Carolina but decided recently to go to Duke. My brother was deferred and then put on the waitlist, and he really wants to go to Carolina if he can get accepted. Does he have a better chance now that I took my name off the accepted list? </p>

<p>He likes the campus a lot and if he isn’t accepted he will go to NC State. Thanks guys; it’d be very fun and interesting to have two brothers at Duke and UNC!</p>

<p>Even if you knew your brother was first on the waitlist I’m pretty sure you not attending would not be statistically significant enough to help out anyone on the waitlist.</p>
