Will this HS schedule fulfill Uni admission requirements?

D is in the IB program at her school. It pretty much has a prescribed schedule, which I assume has been well thought out (program has been around for a while) but we noticed that there is no Economics course…and wonder what else is NOT in the schedule that might be important for college admissions (Will it work for our state schools, but be lacking something for OOS or private schools?..or just for her education in general?

Here is the school’s IB plan:
In Pre-IB (9th, 10th) kids will have had AP Euro history and AP American History, Algebra II, Geometry, 2 yrs of foreign language, 2 yrs of a music/arts elective, one yr each of biology and chemistry.
The true IB program starts in 11th grade.
11th -12th grade
• IB Music/Band, Art, Drama or ITGS (both yrs)
• IB Foreign language (French or Spanish) (both yrs)
• 11th: AP English Lit / 12th - IB English A I HL
• 11th- IB Contemporary History/ 12th- IB History of the Americas HL
• IB Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Whatever they choose here, they take for 2 years.
• 11th-Math: IB Analysis of function or precalc, or IB Calc advanced/
• 12th- IB Statistics and Introductory Differential calculus, or IB Calculus and Descriptive Statistics or IB Mathematics HL
• TOK (both yrs)

Typical baseline preparation for selective colleges is:

English composition and literature: 4 years
Math: through precalculus minimum (calculus preferred if available)
History and social studies: 3 years or more
Science: all three of biology, chemistry, and physics
Foreign language: 3rd level minimum (4th or higher level preferred by the most selective colleges); alternative means of proving proficiency may also be accepted at some colleges
Art and/or music: yes

In all subjects, taking honors, AP, or IB HL courses if available is a plus over regular high school level courses.

Of course, you need to check each college’s web site to see what it recommends or requires.

Double-check state graduation requirements, too. I’m in IB but I had to take economics online to fulfill a graduation requirement.
