Will this hurt me?

Hello everyone, currently one of the my two top choices is NEU and I’m going to apply early. However, this summer I am going to attend BU’s Summer challenge program and will be at Boston. I want to attend this program because I can explore Boston and visit NEU (and other colleges of course, including BU). But if I include this experience in NEU application, will the admission officer see it that I’m more interested in BU than NEU - this is definitely not the case since BU is barely on my list. I don’t think it will fit me at all.

So yes, will putting BU’s program in NEU EA application hurt my chances for NEU admission?

no… if u apply early, that shows you are interested.
ED or EA?

I’m definitely going to apply to NEU EA. I see, thanks for your feedback!

I need a few more feedback pls. I am just trying to convince myself.

Don’t think it will hurt you…don’t stress too much. DS is going to NEU in the fall (yeah!). Applied to BU too and listed that on the NEU app. Also applied to GWU and listed that on the NEU app. Was waitlisted a BU, accepted at GWU and NEU.
NEU admissions tips that I saw: go to the campus visit and sign in (shows you are interested), interview if you can, even if it is on the phone (we did this from West coast). Interview is informational but again, shows interest. Absolutely apply EA. It is not binding and shows interest. NEU had 6500 (I think I am remembering right) apps EA this year. Acceptance rate was 40%. Go to the NEU board and check my memory…
NEU app is fairly standard but you can include an activities/EC “resume” listing ECs, awards, part time jobs, etc. Highly suggest you do that…
