In 9th grade there was a dodge ball tournament, and for some reason I decided to chose the name “F.U.P.A.” for our team name. No one knew what it originally meant (we told to gym teacher it stood for something like fun under positive attitude or something like that), but when they announced our team name on the announcements the day after, i guess a principal knew what it really meant and gave us both ISS for two days.

But do colleges really care about this (as long as they don’t have a FUPA)? I haven’t had any other major trouble since.

Wow…um okay interesting story. I don’t think it will really affect your admission, but if it is listed on your transcript/record that you were suspended you might want to explain it or something. I really don’t think it will impact your admissions though.

I doubt it, it does make a statement about your maturity (of lack of thereof) at the time, but as you were in ninth grade, this is almost expected, and definitely understandable.

How in the world you are going to explain that story to college admissions without sounding like a complete ■■■■■ is a whole other story, however.

Still, I can’t believe your principal suspended you! That’s rough.
