<p>I haven’t made up my mind yet, but if I do decide to take advanced standing of 1 year?, would the following AP credits qualify me for 1 year’s advanced standing?</p>

1. Requirements for graduation in three years (by becoming a sophomore in the spring of the first year or a junior in the fall of the second year):</p>

<p>A.B. candidates need **eight advanced placement units<a href=“equivalent%20to%20eight%20Princeton%20courses”>/B</a> distributed in at least three of the following subject areas in which AP is granted: foreign languages, historical analysis, literature and the arts, quantitative reasoning, science and technology, and social analysis.

<p>i hope i’m right… i was just told by a professor in the east asian department that placing out of foreign language requirement through a placement test does not grant me 2 AP credits. is that true?!</p>
