Will UCLA let me change from American Lit. to Applied mathematics?

<p>I got admitted into American Lit. and Culture, but I hate literature. Will UCLA let me switch to applied mathematics? I haven’t talked to any one from ucla about this yet.</p>

<p>Extra Info:
[The only pre-reqs I am missing are two physics courses and differential equations.
I’m also missing calc 3 and linear algebra, but I’ll have those done in 4 weeks.]</p>

<p>If this isn’t possible to do, then I’ll reapply in the fall.</p>

<p>Lol, why did you apply for American Lit if you hate literature??? I think they will let you switch (Applied Math isn’t impacted, right?).
Email the department and they’ll tell you if you can and what your next steps should be.</p>

<p>Eric, I was told to submit a petition during orietation. They said they couldn’t guarantee that I would get into anything until then… bummer</p>
