Will UCLA rescind my offer of admission?

@2016Candles‌ What does your email say?

@babybergur‌

“Thank you for notifying us of the classes you are taking in the Spring. Your application has been updated accordingly. This will not affect your admission.”

congrats dude ! so that was about a week they took to respond right?

@ericxxd I’m a dudette ;-)

But yes it took exactly 1 week. I submitted Monday at 8am and received a response at 1pm the next Monday.

hahaha sorry! and congrats again ! must have a peace of mind now.

Thanks! Now I can finally really get excited about UCLA! The last week been more nerve-racking than the last five months. Now I can drink to celebrate, not drink to forget my problems :-)

are you guys submitting changes that have happened since April 18th or changes that happened before that? Because I feel like I should submit certain changes. For example, UCLA says they expect records from Santa Monica College, which I did say I was attending but I dropped the class after the first class. I notified UCLA via email and via TAU. Granted it was after the January deadline.

@2016Candles‌ congrats!!

@2016Candles‌ Nice! Just wondering, did your “congratulations” letter reappear on the decision site after they approved the changes?

Somebody in admissions told me that the Congratulations letter would reappear within 24 hours. It hasn’t reappeared yet, but hopefully tomorrow. I miss it.

I’m sure everyone still waiting will end up getting good news. They want us to come and to succeed, so I think they’re willing to work with most things… within reason.

@2016Candles‌ please let me know if it reappear! I am waiting too

I sent my schedule change last saturday and I have yet to hear back from them. I dropped a non-major class, won’t drop below 60 units. Idk how much longer I should wait before calling them and ask them why is it taking so long.

Congrats @‌evanwong

My courses have updated online but not my congratulations letter yet. I’m sure by tomorrow it will return :-)

@nechronix I’m in the exact same situation. I’m going to give it until the end of this week (that would be the 10 business days they said was the normal span of time) and then I’ll call them.

@nechronix‌

What was your reasoning for dropping the class that you stated on the form you had to fill out? I may be in a similar situation myself soon.

@evanwong My Congratulations letter is back. Almost 24 hours exactly! I feel whole again!

@RamonaFalls‌ The same happened to me! At UCLA and UCB. They have an online Symbolic Logic course listed that I couldn’t get into, but I know I took it off my application before the January deadline for the TAU. I don’t live within 100 miles of a college that offers Symbolic Logic so there was no alternative.

I sent them a message through the “contact us” form. I didn’t do the dropped courses thing because I technically didn’t drop it. I think I will also call them or fax a letter, because last time I used email I didn’t hear back.

@2016Candles Very nice! i think i will have it back tmr :smiley:

@evanwong‌ congrats.! :)

I’m so excited right now! I got my congratulations letter back after I reported to them a C in Calculus 1, they just revised my contract to get a B or better in my classes this semester. Time to SIR!
