<p>Hello everyone.
I was recently accepted into the engineering school at UMD. In addition, I was accepted into the scholars program, received a $5000 per year presidential scholarship, and a $7000 per year university grant. I have been slacking a little bit in my final semester of senior year, and most of my A-/B+ have dropped to the B+/B/B- range. I don’t think this is bad enough to deserve any repercussions, but confirmation would be great. What I’m really worried about, however, is my grade in my art class. I had a B-/C+ for my first two quarters, but now it looks like i might receive a D in art class this quarter. Is a D in art bad enough to warrant a rescinded offer? Even though it has nothing to do with my intended major (chemical engineering)?</p>
<p>Dude, call the Admissions Office. They’re going to find out anyway, and you need to know now rather than in August when UMD gets the grades. </p>
