Will USC look at disciplinary record?

I’ve been suspended this year for writing vulgar messages on an assignment.

I sitll have pretty good grades ( 4.0+), a solid SAT ( 2050), and a TON of ECs.

Would USC reject me because for my disciplinary record?

I think that this an issue that should discussed with your parents, counselor and you. I don’t know that this would disqualifiy you, but I think that what you have (or haven’t) learned from the experience would speak volumes. In addition, I imagine how you have conducted yourself since the episode might be taken into consideration. But in general I think that you have an uphill battle.

thanks ellebud.

BUMP PLEASE

Sorry, no new info from me, but I’ll just ditto ellebud because that is your answer- don’t skip over that without reading it carefully.

USC will be very attentive to the tone of your entire application application looking for your attitude, voice, and maturity. It’s not just a numbers game. If you understand this, you will have a better chance.

Good luck!
