Will writing on the "Topic of your choice" section hurt my chances?

<p>I want to write on Todd Beamer and FDNY and how those groups on that day effected me, but i can’t fit it into any of the prompts.</p>

<p>Will writing on the “Topic of Your Choice” hurt my chances?</p>
