Yes, she has. She is open to large schools, but is more drawn to smaller and medium ones for sure. It is mainly prestige (and weather, and its strength in her areas of interest) that keeps UNC on her list.

Just wanted to add W&M is a little more than 3 hours from Chapel Hill, Richmond airport is an hour and Dulles which would give you a lot more flight options is 3 hours.

Good luck with the decision and feel free to message me if you have any questions about UNC OOS premed.

She has many great choices!

D25 announced her decision last night at midnight. She is going to St. Olaf! It seemed destined from our first visit back in Feburary and I am so happy for her. It is a special place.

I know this is an old thread, but regarding prestige, my daughter started at Hamilton. A top 20 LAC. It is less than 5 hours from us. Zero people from our large city that we told where she was going had ever heard of it. She transferred to St. Olaf and I have found in my entirely un-scientific research that it has much more name recognition. Even if it may be because people say hey isn’t that where Rose was from.

That’s hilarious!!

And in post 2, I did note of all the schools presented, St Olaf seemed the best fit.
