I got deferred from William and Mary in Early Decision. I got a 32 on my ACT, have a 3.85 weighted GPA, I’m in the International Baccalaureate program in Nebraska and have lots of leadership in extracurriculars, with strong essays. My test scores got sent in late and I feel like that messed up my ED chances.

How common is it for kids who have been deferred to get in at regular admission?

My daughter had the exact same ACT score, almost same weighted GPA. The only difference was she was in state. For my daughter she never looked back - she went to a college that really wanted her. Curious what was your major?
