<p>In-state (VA) male who has taken virtual school classes along with community college classes. </p>

<p>3 AP’s (could only take exam on one) : AP Lang and Comp (4), AP Chem, and AP World History </p>

<p>I have shown that I will take the most difficult classes offered to me by doing some AP’s and also doing Calc and Physics at the community college level.</p>

<p>EC’s: State champion table tennis player, founded and manage local table tennis club, am a semi-professional rated player and coach approximately 10 hours per week, tutor calculus and physics, forum moderator, write articles for analysis website, top 300 rated US online chess player, Jv lead scorer for basketball, starting Varisty basketball player, top 8 in competitive tennis ladder, violin, church youth group with involvement awards in those areas, over 100 hours of volunteer community service as well as serving in children’s ministries and participating in local mission trips, will shadow local cardiologist to learn more about medical field </p>

<p>Awards: Top biology grade in community college, top chemistry grade in virtual class, latin award for excellence, teens involvement award at church, timothy award, state champion, top three finisher in seven regional tournaments </p>

Recommendations: Very personal; I have two from family friends (one who’s a PhD) and I have one from my AP Chem teacher (PhD as well) who is on the chair for the AP exam
Essays: Just ok; I wrote about my failure in winning state championships in 2013 and how I learned from that experience, and I also wrote about my table tennis coaching and calculus tutoring, demonstrating that I like to help people </p>

<p>(I think the decisions are coming out in like two days, so I am super nervous!!!)</p>

<p>as a former w&m student (now transferring) i think you have a very good chance. they have been taking more and more in state transfers each year and you are clearly qualified. i would be confident.
