I am a current student at Colby and also a Presidential Scholar. It actually is not a research grant, it is an academic scholarship (so it goes towards your tuition). There are other benefits that come with the honor, including a dinner at President William Adams’s house fall of your freshman year. During your tenure at Colby you will have to maintain a certain GPA to retain your status as a Presidential Scholar. It is a very big honor and the only purely academic-based scholarship issued by Colby. Congratulations on your selection!</p>
