William & Mary or Clemson

Out of State-(male) admitted to W & M. Admitted to Cornell under the guaranteed admission offer sophmore year. Trying to decide between W & M and Clemson for the first year. Must maintain a 3.3 grade average to transfer to Cornell. What are some opinions as far as maintaining that grade average at William and Mary? I am leaning towards Clemson because of this. Undecided Major, but admitted to college of ag & life science at Cornell. I am out of state for Cornell also, so I am not going to any school in NY. Anyone have any info on this Cornell option?

It’d be a lot easier to maintain that GPA at Clemson than William & Mary. Do you not have an in-state option that you can fall back on? If you’re planning to transfer to Cornell anyways, why go to an out of state school when you can save money?

Between these schools though, William & Mary is much better if you’re planning to stay there and not transfer but GPA wise Clemson might be the better pick.
