Any predictions for this Saturday’s Williams v. Amherst football game? Williams beat Middlebury by one point, but Amherst beat Middlebury by eight points. Williams beat Tufts by one point, but Amherst lost to Tufts by seven points. Amherst has the home field advantage. Should be a good game for television.

There are buses going up so I’ll be there. Predictions for Williams-Amherst football mean nothing…even if Williams was 8-0 and Amherst was 0-8, the game is bound to be good. That’s what’s great about the rivalry.

It was a great game played at Amherst. I watched it on TV. The announcers did an excellent job giving a feel for what it is like to be a student at those schools. Several former football players were interviewed including one who was about to become a trader at a major financial instution and another entering medical school. It is impressive to see talented athletes who are also outstanding scholars.

I was at the game at amherst, it was a lot of fun. I think it’s been called the “biggest little game in America”, and from my experience at the last two amherst-Williams football games, it’s the truth. Lots of ephs made the trip, and a good time was had by fans on both sides.
