Willing to Read College Essays (Not an 10'er)

<p>Hi Everyone,</p>

<p>Essentially the title tells it all, I am willing to read any college essay that comes to my PM box until August 24th (then I will only continue with papers that I’ve helped for a while, since that’s when classes start). </p>

<p>So the first question is simple enough? Why trust me? </p>

<p>Essentially, when I began the college admissions process last year (I’m an 09’er) I was average (by CC standards). 3.65 GPA, 2170 SAT’s, decent EC’s, etc, etc, etc. But, (after a wonderful experience with waitlist, then an acceptance) I was accepted into 7/8 schools, including Georgetown, GW, NYU, and American. Why? My essays were well written, and according to many, very, very good (once I polished them of course).</p>

<p>In addition to this, I have been a Writing Tutor at my local community college for two years, and scored a five on my AP Lang exam. </p>

<p>So the next obvious question would be: what’s in it for me? </p>

<p>Very little. I am bored. My job (Writing Tutor) gives me stimulation for 30 minutes at a time, and then boredom for 2 hours until another paper comes in. Meanwhile, I have internet access, and can basically do what I want. It’s a nice job, but I need some more things to do. So, if you want it, I can read your papers. </p>

<p>Also, I have an odd sleep schedule, which gives me lots of time, late at night to do random things. And I like reading essays. </p>

<p>So fire away, just PM me.</p>
