Willingness to overlook requirements?

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I was looking into Rice, and it seems like a definite candidate for me. However, one thing that is concerning me is the foreign language requirement. They want two years (4 semesters) of the same foreign language, and there is really no way for me to fulfill that before matriculation. </p>

<p>Would Rice be willing to overlook that?</p>

<p>I suggest you write the admissions department and ask that question. If it’s not possible for you to fulfill that requirement, they may waive it.</p>
