<p>I have a similar vintage laptop a friend of a client dumped on me after prepaying for work to be performed on it(RAM/HDD upgrade/OS reinstall) and deciding he didn’t want it anymore. </p>
<p>With 1 GB RAM maxed out, it ran Win 7 surprisingly well. </p>
<p>Only snag is that the LCD CCFL bulb died a year ago. Need to decide what to do with it as it’s taking up space atm. </p>
<p>P4-Ms do run much cooler than their desktop counterparts…which Dell in its finite wisdom decided to install in their Inspiron 1100 line. So many overheating issues along with other QC problems.</p>
