@d4wnzz Australia is right. But I actually came to America for college. What state? Who knows LOL.

@romaOnCC did you call them and make sure it was complete?

@d4wnzz Australia is right. But I actually came to America for college. What state? Who knows LOL.

@romaOnCC did you call them and make sure it was complete?

@Matisyahu I called awhile back to make sure they received everything (they did), but now I really want to call again and make sure everything is good lol

Applying to LS&A from an engineering program so I have no college foreign language credits and only two “humanities” classes. Maybe I am worrying too much?

Aren’t all LSA required to have 4 semesters of foreign language? I’m currently taking Spanish.

But you can take it when you get to U-M.

@matisyahu yes, 4 terms, but the language requirement CANNOT be satisfied by out-of-residence credit so you have to have 4 terms of in-residence credit to fulfill the requirement.

But if you took either French, German, Hebrew, Latin, Modern Greek, or Yiddish, you can earn up to 8 retroactive language credits from your last university AFTER 1) testing into and taking the appropriate level course AND 2) getting a B or higher

Not hearing back till middle of November, hopefully it is worth the wait!

Where we should check our admissions in Wavering Access? “Application Status”? or “View Credentials”?

@romaOnCC - Where did you find that out?

@Dreamingowl I believe Application Status will show something when a decision has been made on your application. That’s what I recall when I applied for freshman undergrad.

@redsdave03: Thanks very much!

Is it possible to know the decision maybe earlier than 6 weeks? U-M said the latest time for student to konw would be Dec…

@rainbowdashery actually I contacted them and they said Spanish 1001 will transfer. But this is only applicable for NEW transfer students.

@redsdave03 6 weeks after they receive all of the application material. High school transcript took awhile to reach them.

@Dreamingowl I doubt it

@romaOnCC well actually you could receive your decision earlier. Some one on here got their decision in almost 3 weeks. Depends on if your counselor is out.

I called them today and they said there are some counselors who were suppose to view application were traveling during September and they just got back on Oct. so there would be many students not receive decisions till November.

Yeah, I know that they say something like a month to 6 weeks after they receive all of your application materials, but I’ve seen some people who got their decisions in like two weeks. It almost seems like a very random, arbitrary process rather than the cut-and-dry they like to make it out to be. I submitted my application September 27th, but it looks like they didn’t get the high school transcript until October 10th (my high school is ridiculously slow with transcripts). I’ll probably be waiting a while, I guess.

@redsdave03: I should shake hands with you since I am in an exactly same situation. U-M did not receive my summer school transcript until Oct.11th. When was your application claimed to be “completed” ?

I said to them that there are students receiving result in 2 weeks while some others have been waiting longer, U-M said it depends on your counselors. The application is multi-reviewed by different people different time.

I really really really hope U-M could provide decision as soon as they can so that I can deal with new I-20 VISA

@Dreamingowl Was your counselor out during September?

@Matisyahu: I was so stupid I forgot to ask this afternoon when they said that to me. But it seems not matter to me since my application was completed in October.

@Dreamingowl well if they got back today. It would mean the application decision will come out six to eight weeks from today. A lot of counselors, like mine and d4wnzz, came back today.

Lol ***. So much for early action -.-
