<p>Let’s say I am offered on-campus dorming for the year, does that mean my total cost of attendance will rise? B/c that also will greatly influence my decision of whether I should go to UCI or UCSD.</p>
<p>Does that total cost include housing? They wont charge you more for a dorm room because you’re a winter admit.</p>
<p>i think it stays the same, because they take into consideration that you will be living somewhere. like, when they consider ur financial aid for winter admit, they still take into account that you will have to live somewhere :D</p>
<p>I asked them about that question when I first found out I was a winter admit.</p>
<p>That does not include housing if you go to fall admission. So if you do get fall admission, you will need another $7000.</p>
<p>So if I do get into fall admission, will they give me more in Univ. grants? B/c I think they base grants so that my family would at least have to use 5k in loans. So I think thats why they tallied 10,000 in grants.</p>
<p>I dont think they will because generally what is in the preliminary financial award is generally what they give you in the end. I’m 99% sure about this but you may want to call up the admissions office tomorrow and ask them if you would get more money.</p>
