Winter Break 2011

I remembered reading a very minor reference to winter break programming in the end of year e-mails to Harvard parents. Until now, I have not seen any other references and was starting to believe that I was imagining it. Here is an interesting “release” that I came across this evening. [Communications from the Dean Harvard College](http://www.college.harvard.edu/icb/icb.do?keyword=k61161&pageid=icb.page258888&pageContentId=icb.pagecontent557848&view=view.do&viewParam_name=winter-break) It’s a little unclear to me how we were supposed to know these details. This is not something that I remember having been sent to parents and my daughter does no recognize it either.

Anyhow, does anyone know more details at this time?

Also, does anyone know about how students doing winter break research get to be housed?

Hoping to learn and share info on what might go on for winter break 2011.

Question 1- The J-term programming is new and your details seem to be the first ones out. (Thanks for the update!)

Question 2- Students who receive permission to stay for J-term are housed in their own rooms.
