wire transfer, enrollment, and health insurance

hi all,
i’m an international, so I paid $24,181 in June 1st by wire transfer…
in SIO, “Wire transfer payment” is posted under the “credits”
so it means that cmu received my money.
But why is the money $24,163, not $24,181?
In addition, when I requested a verification of enrollment, it says that
I’m currently not enrolled… why is it so?
ANd is it relevant to my housing status’ being TBA?

Last. As far as I know, the money 24181 covers half the tuition fee
and health insurance. If cmu received my wire-transferred money,
does that mean I have a health insurance ?
Or is there something else I have to do ?

Pheww. Lots of question, but please answer me…
Thanks a lot in advance!!

Call or e-mail the HUB about the money thing. Is it possible that the money was taken out as a fee for the wire transfer? While you’re at it, ask about enrollment.

A charge probably shows up on your account for health insurance, but I’m not sure what date it goes into effect. Check out cmu.edu -> current students -> health services for health insurance info.

did u request ur I-20 by UPS?..if yes then some money will be deducted from ur account balance…also ur account details should have ‘standard health insurance’ amounting to about $870…thats the charge of the basic plan…however we as intels are suggested to take premium insurance plans…but i am not too sure how to do that!
