<p>The change is effective October 16th - there will be an international search for Mike Knetter’s replacement. Joan Schmitt - the vice dean - will serve as interim dean of the Wisconsin School of Business.</p>

<p>Mike has been a highly valued asset to the UW pretty much since he arrived. I hope this is not his last stop. I see him taking over the show at some point. Great hire for UWF.</p>
